I started out in cabinetmaking as a one man shop over 50 years ago. Since then I have owned and operated a millwork shop and architectural design business. Now I’ve come full circle and am back as a one man cabinet shop. 

I’ve always liked Shaker and Arts & Crafts designs. I admire the elegant simplicity of design meeting function. The furniture and fittings shown here are samples I’ve made over the last few years trying to emulate that pleasing simplicity. Not overly traditional or contemporary, but “Transitional”, a phrase I like meaning something that not only is between but connects and can live in both worlds. They are all available to order or can be a starting point for custom work. Some of the pieces shown are in a size suitable for a condo or apartment, but can be made larger. All of the furniture and mirrors are handmade so there will be slight variations in colour and grain from the samples shown. Most items can be made from cherry or walnut.
